Internet

The Internet is a network that allows computers to connect through protocols called TCP / IP.

Internet

The Internet took its first steps in 1969 through an agency of the United States Department of Defense that was looking for options to favor communication between people if an atomic war occurred.

Later, in 1972, the first public demonstration of this system was carried out thanks to the work of several California and Utah universities that managed to establish a connection that they would call ARPANET (Advanced Reserach Projects Agency Network).

It is also advisable not to confuse the World Wide Web and the Internet. There is a lot of confusion about this, but contrary to popular belief, the Internet and the world wide web are not synonymous. This information system, the www, was developed in 1989 by Tim Berbers Lee and Robert Cailliau. It allows access to the information that is linked through the HTTP protocol.
